This was the fifth annual AIP Physics in Industry Day I have organised (please navigate the Past Events tab). This year was particularly exciting, because of the partnership with RACI - and packaging is a topic that initially seems mundane, but on closer examination, blossoms into an intricate and captivating microcosm that impacts on all of our modern concerns.

Our program is intended for the informed general public seeking to acquire an accurate overview of the state of the art, major issues and trends, and what is happening locally in our state of NSW.

Organisation of this and other AIP events is conducted by volunteers passionate about promoting physics. In a world full of trivial distractions it's never been more important to remind people of the deeply satisfying pursuit of understanding through science.
